Some dreams fade as we grow up. Bianca’s only became stronger.
Since she was 14, Bianca dreamed of building a future in veterinary care. Today, she’s taking that dream one paw at a time as an Animal Attendant at Lilydale Vet Centre.
For Bianca, working with animals was never just another career option. It was the future she could picture from a young age.
In just six months with our Lilydale Vet Centre team, that passion is already shining through. She brings kindness, energy and a genuine willingness to help wherever she’s needed.
Her biggest soft spot? Dogs, without question.
“I have such a big passion for animals in general, but dogs will forever have my heart.”
That love continues long after Bianca finishes work for the day. Waiting at home are Cash, her Ridgeback cross Whippet, and family dog Pippa, a Whippet cross Staffy.
But Bianca’s passion goes beyond cuddles and wagging tails. She’s inspired by what happens when animals need people most.
One experience that has stayed with her is watching the veterinary team work together during stressful moments. Seeing everyone remain calm, collected and focused showed Bianca the power of teamwork in animal care.
Outside the clinic, Bianca rarely sits still. She speaks Italian and loves basketball, boxing, gym sessions and going for runs.
Her colleagues know her as kind, friendly and always ready to lend a hand—even when her own to-do list is waiting.
And this is only the beginning.
Bianca wants to care for every animal she can as an Animal Attendant. Her long-term dream is even bigger: to become a veterinarian.
